Do you guess my acquaintance is dumb for trying to save her marriage? This is her fourth marriage, so she is really doesn’t desire to feel like she has failed again. She has been married 7 years

shes not stupid she wants to be loved but is with someone who doesnt love her back be her friend get her involved in church pray for her. if you are sincerely her friend be there for her cause if she got the courage to leave she will need your support. god bless your friend i pray things work out. Not all marriages can be saved. Since this is her 4th marriage, she might not be cut our for marriage. I know a woman that has been married 8 times and is single again. At some point, you have to take time for some real self reflection.
Why is your “acquaintance” not asking this question?
Why are you making someone else’s very personal business – yours? It’s very dangerous to insert yourself between two people in the grips of madness.
Advice: You stay out of your “acquaintance’s” personal business. If she wants to “save” her marriage, she knows how to contact a good couples counselor in her area.
YOU on the other hand, stay out of things. She is an acquaintance – not even a close personal friend. That is even more evidence that you need to butt out of her business.
