Q&A: Would gay marriages save marriages in America?

Question by : Would gay marriages save marriages in America?
As of right now in America, more people get divorced then actually stay with their commitment of love to their other partner. Getting married and getting divorced is such a easy think to do compared to a couple decades ago when getting divorced was such a rare thing. I believe people today get divorced way to quickly when they should instead be getting help and trying to save their relationships.

But I think when gay marriage is eventually legal throughout the US, those numbers will go up because they are fighting so hard for these rights and will cherish them unlike heterosexual couples. What does everyone else think?

i don’t think marriages need to be saved

(btw, divorces are dropping, it’s not true that more pepole are getting divorced then married…just that more people are waiting)

I disagree…. It’s not like most people don’t care about the whole marriage deal. We all make mistakes… We don’t see the flaws or the bad events that may tear us apart. Straight or gay.

People rush into marriage. It happens… a gay marriage won’t change anything of that sort
