Question by : Why are you saving your virginity for marriage?
Please don’t give me something like ‘hur dur I’m not’ or ‘too late’. I’m asking those that are.

lol i’m not i dunno if ill get married but i’m only 15 :[ i already have girls i’m with though so i’m not a virgin xD
I did save myself for marriage because that is what God wanted me to do as directed through His prophets to all of His children here on earth. In other words chastity before marriage and fidelity after marriage. That is God’s rule and I honored that rule.
I am Catholic and I strongly believe in the sacrament of marriage.
At the risk of sounding really girly. Im waiting because I want to share that experience with only one person in my lifetime. Giving your virginity to someone is something you can only once, so I’m not gonna waste it. Although sometimes it gets really hard (Lol…sorry) As well as the fact that I’ve had a lot of friends, male and female, that regret having sex with someone they were so “in love” with. You want other reasons?

Rac has it right. We do it because God commanded us to.
I also saved myself for my wife so that the gift of myself to her would actually mean something. Sex would mean very little if I gave it away to many people. It’s special because it’s only for my wife, someone I have promised my whole life to.
